I always get many questions around makeup lessons, so below I’ve added an overview on the why, what and where.
WHY SHOULD I BOOK A MAKEUP LESSON?
A popular request I always get from clients, is to make them look their best without looking like someone that they’re not, and since starting in the industry, this has been my aim. I love what makeup can do – the way it can make you feel amazing, even with just looking natural and minimal amounts applied.
My aim is to bring out everyone’s natural beauty, using techniques that only a makeup artist knows, and using a selection of great tools, products and skincare, creating a look that makes you think that with makeup is how they look naturally.
My makeup lessons can be book by individuals themselves, however if you are looking to get a lesson as a gift for someone, I have some lovely gift certificates.
WHO ARE THE MAKEUP LESSONS SUITABLE FOR?
The makeup lessons are suitable for the following clients:
Individuals who just want to learn how to apply better makeup on themselves; or
Brides-to-be who won’t have access to a makeup artist for various reasons and would like to know how to apply it themselves.
If you are getting married somewhere that you won’t have access to the makeup artist you’d like, or if you are on a tight budget and would rather learn how to apply bridal makeup yourself, I can show you how to do this using correct application techniques, and the right products to use to create that special flawless look that lasts all day and looks great in photos.
PRIVATE LESSONS FOR INDIVIDUALS
You may want to learn how to create a natural, classic, fresh look, or a glamorous, sophisticated, polished look; I can help and guide you through these looks, the correct techniques and applications to use, and the products best suited to these types of looks.
Some of what we’ll go through would be prepping the skin, colour match you a foundation and discuss eye shadows best suited to your eye colour.
WHERE DO THE LESSONS TAKE PLACE?
Makeup lessons can take place in either your home or mine – whichever you may feel the most comfortable in.
